Joe Biden Attacks 2nd Amendment To Take Your High-Powered Handguns

Yep as I suspected PINO Joe Biden announced that high-powered handguns will blow a person’s lung out and should be outlawed. Jeez, isn’t that the weapon of choice of our law enforcement officers? This comes after some mentally ill individual shot up Robb Elementary School in Texas last week. Biden is playing politics taking advantage of the carnage to push his and Beto O’Roruke’s gun-control narrative which I find disgusting. Taking law-abiding citizens’ guns away is not the answer! 😡

The New York Post reports: President Biden ranted against ownership of what he called “high-caliber weapons” Monday appearing to suggest that there should be restrictions on the most popular handgun in America, the 9mm pistol, and repeating a previously debunked claim that the Second Amendment prohibits ownership of cannons. Speaking to reporters outside the White House after returning to Washington from a weekend that included a visit to the site of last week’s mass shooting in Texas, Biden recounted a visit to a trauma hospital in New York, where he said doctors had shown him X-rays of gunshot wounds caused by various firearms. They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out and may be able to get it and save the life,” Biden said. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body. So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection, hunting, the Pino said.

Fox News reports: Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke declared on the campaign trail that owners of semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15 shouldn’t “be able to keep them. O’Rourke, the Democratic nominee, said during two different town halls just days before the Uvalde, Texas, mass school shooting that AR-15s have no place in civilian life. I think we are fools to believe anything other than that these weapons of war will continued to be used with greater frequency against our fellow Americans, O’Rourke told a group of veterans during a town hall meeting in Abilene on May 21.

CBC reports: In Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to freeze the sale, importation, and transfer of handguns in Canada, he told reporters today. The big picture: This isn’t a full ban, but it will significantly restrict the number of high-powered handguns in circulation, While the proposal falls short of a full ban on handguns, it would effectively limit their number in Canada. “In other words, we’re capping the market for handguns,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a press conference.
